Twitter is an amazing platform for everyone. We can see from Celebrity figures and what they tweet can impact the world. One tweet from Elon Musk can cause the Tesla stock to go either up or down. Unfortunately one of his tweets caused him to be ejected as the chairman. Again Twitter is a platform enabling billions of people around the world to see your status.
Blackboard discussions are more local and tight knit. Students have no limit on what they can type which allows for a more in depth view of their ideas.
For in-class discussions it is more fun as everyone's interactions are real time. You can see the emotion and physical attributes of everyone participating in a discussion. Although discussions are amazing, some people are more blunt which can trigger people into wanting a safe space.
